Curation Over Volume
Hijau Residences maintains a deliberate portfolio. We do not scale to fill availability — we add properties when the right ones become available, and we remove them when they no longer meet the standard our guests expect.
Each property in the collection sits within the Tanjung Bungah area, giving guests access to the same coastline, the same morning light, and the same network of local knowledge — regardless of which property they choose.

Seaside Studio Apartment
A carefully appointed studio on the lower coastal strip, positioned so that the sea is visible from both the sleeping area and the balcony. Compact without being confined — the layout is considered, the natural light generous, and the views a constant backdrop to daily life.
Well suited to individuals or couples who want to experience coastal Penang at a slower pace — without the overhead of a larger property. The building has shared facilities, including an infinity pool and sun deck, with a reception host available on site.

A resident housekeeper and gardener attend to the property daily. They know the house well, manage maintenance independently, and are a source of local knowledge for guests who want recommendations without tourist-trail suggestions.

Peninsular Cliff Estate
Occupying a commanding position on Penang's northern cliffs, the estate comprises a main residence and a guest house — six bedrooms across both structures, with sweeping views of the Andaman Sea and the Kedah coastline beyond.
Five staff attend the property throughout the rental: a house manager, personal chef, two housekeepers, and a dedicated driver. The tiered infinity pool and cliff-edge terrace create a setting that requires little explanation. An artist's studio on the grounds has been used as a creative workspace and private screening room.
Ideal For
Large family gatherings, corporate retreats, creative residencies, or extended multi-generational stays. Enquiries are handled discreetly and on a personalised basis.

Issues are addressed within 24 hours. We maintain a network of trusted tradespeople in Penang who are familiar with our properties and available on short notice.
Connectivity
All properties are equipped with fibre broadband capable of supporting remote work, video calls, and multiple concurrent users without interruption.
Housekeeping
Frequency varies by property — weekly for the Studio, daily for the Bungalow and Estate — and is consistent throughout the rental period rather than subject to guest request each time.
Clear Tenancy Terms
All rental agreements are written in plain English, reviewed with the guest before signing, and made available digitally for reference during the stay.
Dedicated Support
A named Hijau team member is reachable throughout the rental — during office hours for general matters, and via an emergency line for urgent issues outside of those hours.
